We launched our brand new RCIA landing page– be sure to share it with anyone you know who is entering RCIA this Fall, or anyone who is part of an RCIA leadership team!  It’s an easy link to share: chnetwork.org/RCIA.

For Labor Day, we aired an encore episode of The Journey Home featuring Word on Fire’s new media specialist Brandon Vogt- check it out if you missed it the first time around!

Rob “The Donut Man” Evans was Marcus Grodi’s guest on our Deep in Scripture podcast, discussing Genesis 1, John 1, and how God’s creative act was tied to his incarnation, and what that means for our understanding of the sacraments.

For #ThrowbackThursday, we shared a 2004 Journey Home episode with Avery Cardinal Dulles, SJ, one of the most influential Catholic minds in US history.  Some of you shared with us that you had the privilege of having taken classes with him!

CatholicMom.com profiled artist Michelle Paine, who was a recent guest on The Journey Home, and whose husband, Seth, just happens to be our web developer…

We made free streaming video available of a 2006 Deep in History lecture from Dr. Scott Hahn on Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher, martyrs of the English Reformation.

And our CHNetwork Community shared how long they waited to become Catholic once they began to consider it.

Elsewhere, around the web…

Bishop James Conley of Lincoln shared how Mother Teresa sent his parents a welcome letter when they were received into the Catholic Church.

Brianna Heldt shared how the witness of Mother Teresa and John Paul II were factors in her decision to become Catholic.

Russian astronaut Zvezdny Gorodok shared that he will be taking icons, copies of the Gospels, and stones from Mount Tabor into space with him later this month.

Journey Home favorite Joseph Pearce speculated as to why he thinks GK Chesterton isn’t going to diminish in popularity anytime soon.

Christianity Today looked at a Pew Forum report on the phenomenon of “Church shopping.”

At the National Catholic Register, John Martignoni looked at 4 Biblical principles that show the reality of Purgatory.

And Green Bay Packers rookie Jacob Flores shared how he’d be bringing his Catholic faith to the NFL this season.
