Greetings, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and welcome toThe Coming Home Network International.

 

My wife Mariliyn and I were both life long Protestants, and I was an ordained Presbyterian minister, before we were received into the Catholic Church in 1992 (For the story of our journey, click here). Our journey into the Catholic Church was very exciting and fulfilling but also very lonely, because we knew only a few other ministers who had converted, we knew very few Catholics, and because none of our Protestant friends could understand why we were doing such a "foolish" thing.

 

After we converted, we began to meet other clergy converts as well as clergy and their families who were still on the journey home. Together we saw the need for a fellowship of converts and their families to provide a network of help to others still on the journey. This is how the Coming Home Network International began in 1993.

 

During the last 15 years, the CHNetwork has grown considerably, primarily because the Holy Spirit continues to open the hearts and minds of our separated brethren to the truth of the Catholic Faith. Every week we hear from 2-5 new Protestant ministers somewhere along their journey home. Over these past fifteen years, we have assisted nearly 1600 ministers from over 100 non-Catholic traditions. We have also assisted many laymen, and do this in partnership with over 10,000 life-long Catholics and converts who support our work through their prayers, fellowship, evangelisitic outreach, and financial support.

• The Journey Home Program
• For over ten years, at the invitation of Mother Angelica, Marcus Grodi has hosted this live program on EWTN. Each week he interviews converts, lay and clergy, as well as 'reverts" to the Catholic Faith. Please tune in to hear them describe how the Holy Spirit opened their hearts to the Catholic Faith and to answer live questions from the home audience.
