We would covet the prayers of all you "saints-in-the-making" for our upcoming interview Friday. Jim Carroll, Gen. Manager of KVSS will be talking to Rich, our friend, Jan, and me about our apostolate, RECON. You can listen on line this Friday afternoon, sometime around 1:00 or 1:15 at http://www.kvss.com
We would love to know you're offering up many prayers for this endeavor to help seekers and "tiber jumpers" in the greater Omaha area. You invited to visit our blog http://revertconvert.blogspot.com too. There is such a real NEED for this type of group, as we have almost 1000 entering the Church in Omaha this Easter in the Omaha Archdiocese! When we came back in, it was so new, and so vast a Church that it was hard to find "those new ones with zeal" in our parish. They're there, but we plunged right in to take apologetics classes and though that helped, it wasn't the place to really "make friendships." It's our aim and hope and prayer that this outreach to them will be heard and they'll find some help in meeting others who've been and are in "their shoes."
Thanks much!
rich & susie
JMJ all the way!

Susie, I heard things are humming in the Omaha diocese, and your post proves it all the more. 1000 new members -- Thanks be to God! Are your Catholic schools growing as well? I hope so.
Yes, you can count on my prayers for you this Friday afternoon. God bless you and your work!
Elizabeth

Thank you so much! Omaha is blessed for sure, but Lincoln diocese is REALLY where it's most traditional and orthodox. We love to visit a small rural Catholic church in that diocese. I call it our "sister parish" St Joseph, in Colon NE. about 30 min from us. It's like going to EWTN for Mass! The priests are young JPII priests and in LOVE with the Church. So refreshing! In Dwight NE, Fr. Peter Mitchell is priest of Assumption parish. He was the priest at World Youth Day in Cologne Germany doing commentary with Fr. Francis Mary. He had the blue cowboy hat on and is so cute! He's wonderful. We've gone there a few times, too, but it's farther away.
PAX,
pp
