Hello Dear CHN Family,
Yesterday my husband was admitted into the hospital. For over a week he has had symptons such as extreme shortness of breath, very bad night sweats, headaches and most recently, losing vision in one of his eyes. (I think the left one).
Several doctors observed him yesterday and they believe that bacteria from his ear infection (which was part of the upper respiratory infection he had), made its way to his heart. They are giving him two kinds of steroids and two kinds of antibiotics. He asked the doctors when he could leave the hospital and their reply was, "Right now, your life is on hold. This is life-threatening. You won't leave until we say you can."
Needless to say, I ask that all of you who read this post lift my husband up in prayer today. I thank you so much for being there for me all these months and answering my many questions. I will keep you posted as to his recovery. God Bless All of You.
Your Sister in Christ,
Darlene

Darlene,
I really feel for your husband - and for you! This must be very hard on you both. I will certainly keep your husband and you yourself in my prayers, especially during the rest of my Divine Mercy Novena and during the Feast of the Divine Mercy this Sunday.
Dear Father in Heaven,
"For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on [Darlene and her husband] and on the whole world."
May God's peace be upon you both.
JMJ

Darlene, my own spouse has been in the hospital three times this year with a life-threatening condition, so I know thoroughly your anguish. As a member of the forum, you are always included in my prayers, but I have added a special mention of your husband.

Darlene,
You and your husband have my prayers. I just opened your letter and was shocked to hear what happened.
God's Blessings for your husband and your family,
Steven
