As some of you may recall I'm discerning a vocation in the religious life. Today I made a drastic step in order to see if that's where God wants me to be. I've tendered my resignation with the company I've been with since I left college. It's a large civil and environmental engineering company where I worked as a technical designer. This summer I'll be working for my parish school and possibly serve as a history teacher in the fall.
Needless to say, my boss and co-workers were very surprised. I'm feeling sort of vulnerable right now, having just left behind a sizeable income for a 25 year old. I would greatly appreciate your prayers.

I’ve been waiting for this announcement. As you take the plunge, we’re offering our prayers and sacrifices that you will be acceptable to God and to his Church.

It's for people in your position that I pray daily. I'll include you in my daily rosary.

This is big news, Thank you for sharing with us.
I'll add you to my pray list; May he lead you into the vocations of his choosing.
God Bless
Betty
