We are getting so close, but feel so anxious about it.  I just spoke to the diocese about it, and Columbus recieved it on April 12.  It usually takes 3 months for them to {shoot, I forget the word} ratify?  approve?  what Youngstown did.  So that puts us into July.  But they've been taking longer to do them.  Which I know is a good thing!  We're just impatient to have this done and behind us, especially so I can move on and fully be welcomed into the church.  We started with our parrish priest in Jan-06, and received the official "we've recieved your paperwork" letter in Mar-06.  So all in all, it's not been *that* long, in church time :P  But let's just be done with it already!  LOL

So please, pray for patience and calm for dh and myself.  Thank You!

Ali

I'll be thinking about you, Ali.  My prayers go out to you.  I have no idea what this "wait" must be like.  While you have this particular struggle, I a still am struggling with telling my husband about joining RCIA. I'm still concerned he will express his complete disapproval or even worse, warn me of my spiritual condition should I do such a thing as become Catholic.

{{{{Hugs}}}} Darlene.  That is a terrible position to be in.  I'll taking waiting any day over being out of sync with my dh.

I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

Much love going out to you,
Ali

I certainly will pray for you, I remember feeling so impatient to get my years worth of Catechism (with the Sisters) then 9 months in RCIA over with.  I was just craving to be in full comunion and being able to experience Our Lord In the Eucharist in such an intimate way.  It does feel like forever when you have to wait.  I pray the lord bless you & your DH for the stamina and unending faith to go the distance to be with him.

Darlene

I pray for you every day!  Your one of the most courages woman I've ever been blessed to communicate with.  You've truly been a blessing on the forum and I continually learn so much from your post, questions and responses.  Even when I'm not able to be on the forum, I still light a candle daily & pray for you your DH and your faith journey.

God Bless

Betty

Darlene,

Know there are many out here who are praying for you.  Please be patient, and trust in the One who leads you.
