I just received news that my older brother (23) has been assigned and will be shipped out to Kuwait later this week.  He is an airborne EMT in the US Army.  Please pray for his safety and those of his friends as well.  Also, please keep my family in your prayers as well...  we all knew this could be happening, but the shock of it coming to reality has just hit us (or at least me).  Being separated from each other right now is difficult.  Thanks.

Just talked to my brother...  turns out they're sending him to Kuwait, but he'll be stationed mostly in Iraq.  I have yet to talk with my parents, but he says my mom isn't doing so well.  God, I wish I could be at home with her right now.

Hi Kayla,

I will surely keep your brother, you and your family in my prayers.  My son is also in the Military and I know your fears, and especially those of your Mother.  It is very frightening and difficult when one you love is so far away from you and in a dangerous place.  Place your fears in the heart of Jesus, and allow Him to comfort you right now with His merciful love.

Please take care,

Lisa

Kayla,

I will lift up your brother in prayer tonight. And you, too.  I know what it's like to have a brother in the service going to a wartorn place.  When I was just a little girl, my oldest brother went to Vietnam.  I still remember to this day, saying good bye to him as he boarded the plane.  I also remember the look on my mother's face and the pain that it expressed.

Hi Kayla.

I will pray for your dear brother.  What courage he has!  Surely you will miss him and it will be so hard for your family.

This war is so terrible, but think all those brave young men and women, are duty called, they are people of strong conviction and of courage!  May God be with your brother!!

Connie
