There is a young family I know of who desperately need prayer.  The young mom has been placed involuntarily in the hospital psychiatric ward.  The father, who has been abusive in the past, is battling the grandmother for custody of the only child, a seven year old daughter.  None of them is ideal for parenting right now, but the grandmother has been trying to do her best, until the father came with a court order this morning and took custody.  This will be a bitter fight with the child being manipulated from all sides.  Please pray for the welfare of this child, and the family.

Dear Marsha,

This child will have my continuous prayers, as well as the mother who must be suffering deeply.  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to pray for this situation.  It matters to me very much.

In His Love,

Christine Ann

Would be in trouble with the magisterium if I said that there are some people who should NOT reproduce? Well ........ OK, then I won't say it. ;)

I guess you could say some people should never marry?  But that wouldn't guarantee no children.  The daughter is very sheltered, mom home schooled her, now she's being plopped into school because no one can take over the homeschooling.  I have prayed that angels in heaven will form a shield around her, and protect her from these idiots.  Sorry, I'm angry about it.

Nope.  Just leave it to God to decide, and you'll be fine with the Magisterium.

As I recall, there are a couple of biological factors involved somewhere along the way to parenthood. (How is that for a pun? ;) )

Seems I have a vague recollection of the same.  However, as long as the couple in question does not use artificial means to prevent reproduction (leaving it to God to decide), the Magisterium won't have a problem with it.  And that was your original comment.

The very sweet child that God allowed to be created is in dire need of prayer for her well being, and for her fractured family.  Thank you all for helping.
