A couple of weeks ago my doctors discovered a tumor on my spinal cord. He said that I need to have surgery to remove the tumor. If they don't remove it I could be paralyzed from the neck down.
I was suppose to have it done on the 21 of Sept but after getting an EKG from a heart they found some abnormalities so the heart doctor wants to get a second opinion and if that doctors says that my heart can't take stress of the operation. I won't be able to have it done and it's only a matter of time before I become paralyzed.
So I ask that you all pray that I have a good outcome. I really need this surgery my wife is going to give birth to our first child. I really want to be there for him and to be able to do things with him that my father never did with me. Thank you.

Dear Tony, thank you for sharing your problem with us. I know God hears all prayer and He is kind and merciful. I will dedicate a rosary to you this afternoon, for you and your little family. Please keep us informed of your progress. God bless
Tony, besides the rosary I prayed today, I'd like to put your name on our prayer chain at church. "Tony" is all I have to say, and that you need a miracle of healing, and your wife and baby need the Lord's blessing. I'm glad you have joined us on the forum, and look forward to hearing from you.

Tony, we welcome you to our forum, and we promise you our prayers. God never fails to heal us, but sometimes the healing does not come in the ways that we would prefer. We will pray for the gift of healing of mind, body, and soul, and that God grant you and your family the grace of increased faith to help you deal with whatever road lies ahead.
As long as you wish to share your journey with us, wherever it might lead, we promise to be your prayer partners and to travel that path with you as best we can. Meanwhile, we are looking forward to learning more about you and your faith journey.

I will keep you in my prayers, Tony.
You know, when I was a protestant, I tithed regularly, and my question was always, who or what should I give this month's tithe to? Now that I am in spirit, though not in name yet, Catholic, I ask myself every day who I want to offer my rosary for the day up for. It's the same concept, and I love it and the ability to share Christ's love and abundance that it gives me. And so, tomorrow I will offer a rosary for you, Tony.

Catholics are permitted to tithe, BTW.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick update. I had another EKG done on Tuesday and the cardiologist said that my heart should be able to handle the operation and the anesthesiologist also gave the ok for the operation. So tomorrow I'll be having the surgery. My doctor told me the operation should take 8 hours. I'm little scared and nervous but I know I have God on my side. Thanks again for all your prayers. It means a lot to me.

Tony that is good news. I have prayed for you and your wife and baby. Please know that we will think of you tomorrow and pray for a good outcome to the surgery, wisdom for the doctors and comfort for your wife. I will be glad to pray the rosary again and include you in my intentions. Let us know how you are recovering, whenever you are able to get to the computer! Get well soon!
