Sounds like you've got quite a bit of stressful things on your plate right now.  I will certainly pray for you.

I pray all will work themselves out.

I also hope and pray that the lord make it possible for you to get to mass soon, as I struggle worse when I miss mass on top of lifes struggles too.

Christ's Peace

Betty

Definitely sounds like a rough time.  I will think of you among the many I think of when I say my daily Chaplet of Divine Mercy.  I suggest you say it too it is faster to say than the rosary which is great in a hectic day, and it is a very powerful prayer.

On the topic of qutting smoking I prayed hard for four years for a loved one to stop smoking then one day we went to the theater and watched The Passion and days after that the loved one stopped smoking cold turkey.  Id swear it was a miracle.  So pray hard, dont give up because amazing things can happen.  Oh and get a goods nights sleep.  Life seems a bit easier to take on when you arent tired.  Too worried to sleep well?  God is awake tell Him to worry for you while you sleep since He knows whats on your mind.

Sounds like a very good plan, I pray that transpertation comes your way so you can follow through.  It becomes very hard.

Once when I had surgery on my hands and could not drive, I live way out in the boonies.  I called someone that I new at least lived within 5 miles of me (did not really know her very well) and asked her for a ride to mass.  I don't know if this is possible for you, but if transpertation is an issue, you may want to contact your parish office and ask if there are any parishners that live within a few miles of you.  Most people are very kind and very willing to help, even when you don't know them very well.

It's hard to make the call, but I think sometimes our lord wants us to make these efforts, even in difficulty.

God Bless you dear, I pray something works out for you.

Betty

Carolyn, I will remember you in prayer.  Of all the times for your car to break down and keep you from mass!  All of the other stress in your life could be coped with a little easier if you could received the Holy Eucharist, or at least sit in front of it a little while.  I pray your transportation problems will get better very soon.  Hang in there, and keep on with the Hail Marys!
