Well, my eye hasn't been getting any better from Thursday night. It's still swollen shut and apparentally it wasn't supposed to swell the way it did in the first place- the cut was high enough on the eyebrow to have prevented this.
At any rate, they (my athletic trainer and coach) say that it's one of three different things: first, that I was allergic to whatever it is they shot into the wound to stitch me, second that it somehow got infected, or third that I chipped a piece of skull/bone.
We can't determine between 1st/2nd and the 3rd, because I can't feel any pain. I never felt it when it happened, when they stitched me, and I still can't feel anything because it's all a weird numbing sensation.
The worst part is that I don't really have time to see the doctor again before I leave for home. So, just pray that it's nothing serious, or if it is, that I can get home safely to get it looked at.
((Although, with a day and a half under my belt of not being able to see out of my left eye, I have grown a whole new appreciation for my eye-sight!))

My "Mama" advice is: call home and have them schedule an appointment first thing when you get home. Your own doctor knows you and your history, and you will trust his/her judgement. Bless your heart, you've been through it this fall. Have a safe journey!

Thank You, Lord, for Your strength and guidance ifor care of the eyes, and healing them. You are the fulfillment of all good things. Fill also Kayla's soul with joy and gladness, that she may praise You always. Amen.
