| I ask your prayers for a graduate of the Class of 2006 from my high school. He was killed early this morning in a car accident. He was a very popular student, the star of our football team in his years at the high school. Please also pray for my community back home who are having a hard time with this shocking death. Please pray for his family, friends, and all those affected by his death.

Kayla, while God certainly knows for whom we pray, it is much easier for us humans if we have a first name to help us remember him. Could you give us his name, please?

Most definitely, and my apologies. His name is Justin.

Kayla,
I will remember Justin in my prayers.
This is a good chance, also, for me to tell you that your energy and spirit continue to bless me.

O Lord who watches over children in the present life and in the world to come because of their simplicity and innocence of mind, abundantly satisfying them with a place in Abraham's bosom, bringing them to live in radiantly shining places where the spirits of the righteous dwell: receive in peace the soul of Your little servant Justin, for You Yourself have said, "Let the little children come to Me, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven." Amen.
Wisdom 4:
7 But the just man, though he die early, shall be at rest. 8 For the age that is honorable comes not with the passing of time, nor can it be measured in terms of years. 9 Rather, understanding is the hoary crown for men, and an unsullied life, the attainment of old age. 10 He who pleased God was loved; he who lived among sinners was transported-- 11 Snatched away, lest wickedness pervert his mind or deceit beguile his soul; 12 For the witchery of paltry things obscures what is right and the whirl of desire transforms the innocent mind. 13 Having become perfect in a short while, he reached the fullness of a long career; 14 for his soul was pleasing to the LORD, therefore he sped him out of the midst of wickedness. But the people saw and did not understand, nor did they take this into account.
