Dear Friends,
It's been awhile since the last time I wrote my last message. I had a midterm paper due and had to make some references from a class I took last semester. I found two messages I'd printed out from this forum on April. Once I read them, I cried. It was not because of pain but of gratitude. Throuhgout this painful journey, I have not been alone. God's grace was all along with me. I truly believe God used all of you to encourage me with your wisdom and kind advice. I am overwhelmed by your care and love for those suffering. After going through a divorce myself and having lived and survived the pain, I am more open to others who are going through pain or a similar situation. I also pray more for family unity.
The Lord has touched my heart and is molding me to be a better christian. I am very grateful for His mercy and never-ending love.
Tomorrow I am going away to a spiritual, silent retreat for a whole week I am excited and anxious at the same time... Most importantly I am trusting my Lord. He knows best and I am certain that He will be present to show me how I can serve Him better.
Please keep us on your prayers
Love,
Angie

It's likely you will not see this until you get back, but certainly you can be assured of prayers during your retreat. Please pray for my family, which has split, as my wife moved out and the children went with her.
Monte

Dear Monte,
You can be assured that I will be praying for you today and that your marriage is restored. How how are your children responding to this "split?"
Love in Christ,
Darlene
