Please help me pray for this horrible tragedy as some people are evacuating their homes. There has been a lot of loss. Lord, please give the firefighters strenght to fight these fires and to get it under control. Also please keep my sister in your prayers. She resides in San Diego. Fatima thought she was going to be evacuated from her home last night. If things do not get better, it will happen today.
Angie

| Oh, Angie, I just read the news report of the horrible fires in So. California. I have many friends and family members who live there, as I was born and raised in Norwalk CA. Please know that you are all in my prayers, and please let us know how you are doing.

I certainly sympathize with them and am praying for them, but I can't help thinking of the people who have still not returned home two years after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and have recently been notified they will be kicked out of their FEMA trailers. Please remember them as well.

Lord Jesus Christ my God, who carried Your own Holy Cross to Golgotha, grant these people your strength, patience and wisdom to bear the burdens at hand. Fulfill in them anything that may be lacking and grant that through our prayers and those of Your Holy Mother, their family needs will be supplied, that they may grow closer to You and a Life in Christ. Amen
