Please pray for my family. We are all recovering from numerous huge life events . Deployment to Iraq, my husband and I both lost a parent this year as well. My son has returned , but is finding readjustment difficult. We have always been a close family, but as in every family, there are difficulties and the stress has brought them all forward. My son and daughter had a terrible disagreement that I fear may rend us forever. Pray for my husband and I, that we will have wisdom and grace to help everyone navigate through this very hard time. And that God will heal the rift between my children. I am heart broken.

I have recently begun RCIA and am finding tremendous strength but can't help but sense the spiritual battle. I would so appreciate your intersession for us.

Helen

Dear Helen, I will offer a rosary for your family today.  I truly believe the Blessed Virgin Mary delights in interceding for us with her Son, and I look to the Holy Family as a model and a beacon for all of us struggling with our families.  God bless you and give you hope and comfort.  Have faith in the love and mercy of the Lord, and keep up the RCIA class, it's the most rewarding thing I ever did!  ;)

God, Maker of all creation, accept these prayers of appreciation and petition from us sinners for this family, and deliver them from any fatal fall into darkness and from all enemies, visible or invisible. Lord, who loves everyone, by Your great mercy, You have sent Your only son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, for the salvation of all, and by Your Holy Cross, have cancelled the debt of our sins and defeated the powers of darkness. Penetrate our bodies with Your power and wrap our hearts with love in You, that we might always gaze upon You and be guided by Your eternal light. We give unending praise and thanks to You, eternal Father, to Your only Son and to Your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and forever and ever. Amen.

BE AT PEACE!

I'll keep all of your family in my prayers tonight at Adoration.  May the Lord of Grace help you find peace.
