Really need the job. It is with a private college - my alma-mater (Class of '05 - went to school really late in life!).

This is my second interview with the college, and will be centered around my presentation skills. I have a 5-slide Powerpoint, and about 10 minutes to talk.

Please keep me in your prayers today.

And thanks!

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The interview went great! The next step is to present in front of my fellow competitors for this position! How's that for pressure?

I actually don't mind the competition. It should be fun. I've usually been able to transcend this type of thing before, and am looking forward to studying the different appraoches other professionals take with the topic - I might learn something.

Anyway, thanks for your prayer, and if I may ask for some more.. I believe colleges move slower than Congress in making decisions - I've actually been waiting for this position for two years!

I'll keep you in my prayers.  I know the wait must be terribly excruciating.  Keep being positive and just do what you do best.

May Christ be with you.
