My daughter (Catholic) has recently started dating a man (twice divorced), who identifies himself as neopagan.  About all the information she has volunteered to  me is that he is a solitary pagan and believes in the god and goddess.

Of course, my husband and I are very worried about her leaving the Church and coming under the influence of this man.  She has already stopped going to Confession and Holy Communion.

Please pray that our daughter free herself from her involvement with this man.

You may place this request on any other prayer lists that you know of.

Thanks and God bless.

Marian, I will be remembering your daughter in my prayers.
I know your heart is heavy with concern for her.

Thank you very much.  As much as our hearts are breaking for her, I know God's is much sadder than we are.  I am so sorry that it is breaking Jesus' Sacred Heart.

Any and all prayers are welcomed.

God bless.

I see you are officially Byzantine but attending Latin rite. I am Latin Rite but currently attending Byzantine. Anyway, I will offer a few prayers on her behalf.

Marian, I will pray for your daughter also.  If she only knew how important it is to marry within the faith, to guard her heart from influences like this.  I will contact our prayer chain to place her on it.  God bless

Thank you very much.

What is sad is that my dd does know the teaching of the Church on divorce and the importance of marrying someone with whom she can share the Faith.  These are things that we taught her while she was growing up.

My husband and I very much appreciate your adding her to your prayer chain.

It is very consoling to us to know that she is being remembered in prayer.

I will keep this list posted as to what happens, even though this may take some time to resolve.

In the meantime, please continue to pray.

God bless you all!

Marian,

Hi I am very new to the forums and will pray for you and your family especially your daughter.  For a few days I have had it on my heart to share my testimony or conversion story with the forum but have struggled in sharing it.  I hope that by reading this it will bless you and your family.  You are welcome to contact me through this forum should you wish.

May God's peace and His Presence be with You and Yours and may His face shine so brightly in your daughter's life that she may always sense and know His love for her.  Amen.

  Sincerely,

  Anne

Thank you Anne.

I would very much like to hear your story.  Perhaps that is why you felt you should share your testimony.  Only the Lord knows.  But in any case, if the Holy Spirit has prompted you, it's most likely because someone needs that encouragement and hope.

God bless.

Please do post it, Anne. Your story will serve as a source of inspiration and motivation not only to the active members of this forum, but to thousands of people you will never meet this side of heaven. The vast majority of persons reading the forum’s contents never register or post, but we know they are there because of the number of “hits” this website receives each day.

David

David,

I will, I will have to do it in segments, time is so scarce these days.  Thanks for the encouragement.

  Sincerely,

  Anne

Please let us know if you post it in the conversion forum.  Right now, this is the only forum I have been checking.

God bless.

Cathmom,

The first part has been posted in the conversion section of the forum.  I will try to post some more on it tonight or tomorrow.  Time is short.

  Sincerely,

O God, our heavenly Father, who loves mankind and are a most merciful and compassionate God, have mercy upon Your servants Cathomom's daughter and the family for whom I humbly pray to You to care for and protect. O God, be their guide and guardian in all their endeavors, lead them in the path of Your truth, and draw them nearer to You, so that they may lead a godly and righteous life in Your love as they do Your will in all things. Give them Your grace, and mercy so that they may be patient, hard working, tireless, devout and charitable. Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption, and direct them in the way of Salvation, through the goodness of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the prayers of His Holy Mother and the blessed saints. Amen.
