Hi guys
Hope you are all well. Can I ask for your prayers, my dear brothers and sisters?
Well, I have been recently offered a new part-time job as Assistant Care Manager with Deaf adults by a county council's social services. This job title is like an assistant social worker. I think it is a great job opportunity, because it helps me find my way into training to become a qualified social worker hopefully. I believe that this is God's plan for my life, which is very exciting for me.
At the moment, I am still waiting for the official start date, due to CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) process, which can take about up to 8 weeks. Originally, my new line manager and I have agreed that I should start on around 17th December, but the CRB's slow process sort of delay my start date. My current occupation ended on this coming Friday, so it may affect my situation. :?
Please can you pray that God will grant me peace and strength to wait for the start date to happen soon? Your prayers are much appreciated, my friends.
God bless you.
Love Neil x

Eight weeks!?!? Talk about pins and needles I hope it passes quickly for you!
Does your post mean you will not have a job in the mean time? That can be soooo stressful. Prayers for you.

Yeah, something like that. I need peace in-between the jobs.
Thanks, brother!

Hi thanks for your prayers. That certainly upholds my faith in Jesus Christ. The good news is that God has answered our prayers!
Firstly, my date of appointment with Occupational Health assessment for my new job will take place on 10th January 2008 at 10am. A Sign Language Interpreter is booked for this appt to help with communication support. Praise God!
Then after that, it is likely that I'll start the new job! A long wait but it's worth a wait. Please pray that things will go smoothly.
Lots of love in Jesus

Dear Father in heaven, if it be Your will, please grant this job to Neil, so that he can utilize the gifts and abilities that You gave to him. Give him You guidance and assurance that he is on the right path, and a sense of security and trust in You.
Amen!
