| Sadly, St. Jude's Catholic Church (Mineral, VA) and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Buckner, VA) both located in Louisa County, VA, had an unfortunate experience with a person who betrayed them this past year. The person who betrayed them is in jail and will likely go to prison. The congregations are recovering from the bad experience (these things happen in other denominations as well, from time to time, when people lose sight of Christ and turn to sin). Please pray for these churches as they recover from their unfortunate experience asking God to guide, protect and heal them. Please also pray for the person who betrayed them that he will turn from his sins and turn back to Christ. Thank you!

| Almighty God and Creator, You are the Father of all people on the earth. Guide, I pray, all the Churches and their leaders in the ways of justice and peace. Protect us from the evils of injustice, prejudice, exploitation, conflict and war. Help us to put away mistrust, bitterness and hatred. Lead us to find peace, respect and freedom. Unite us in the making and sharing of tools of peace against ignorance, poverty, disease and oppression that we might grow in the life and understanding of our Dear Lord Jesus Christ and his Lifegiving Holy Spirit. Grant that we may grow in harmony and friendship as brothers and sisters created in Your image, to Your honor and praise. Amen.
