Hello everyone,

I am new here and this is my first post. I wanted to request prayer for my family. I am just getting into the Catholic faith and I am very interested in everything that I am learning. I have been a Methodist in the past, but here recently something is leaning me towards the Catholic faith. My mother and I are learning this together. I would really appreciate it if when you pray, you could remember our family, and pray that God leads us where He wants our family.

Also, I am recently separated after seven years of marriage. I have two small children. I am going through so many changes in my life. I need God's direction and encouragement.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Faith, welcome to the forum!  I will be very happy to pray for you and your family.  Separation is a hard thing, for everyone including the children.

The moderators here are so good at answering questions and if you have any concerns about the catholic church please don't hesitate to ask.  You can try praying to the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.  Ask them to help your family through this difficult time.

God bless

Hi Susan,

I'm so glad you have come to this forum because there are a lot of caring, friendly people here. We'll definitely pray for you. Lots of prayer warriors!

I'm very sorry to hear about your difficulties. No doubt, there are people here who have gone through similar sad situations, that can offer you empathy and encouragement. Hang in there. God is always at work, even though to us He may seem distant at times, and when it is hard to understand what is happening in our lives.
