Please pray for my youngest child who is ill right now.  She is highly allergic to most antibiotics but had to go on one because she has not been getting better since last week.

Thanks to all for your prayers!

Thank you, Dave and Marsha.  I know it seems like a little thing when there are so many more important things, but she's had to have medication testing in the past to see what antibiotics she can tolerate because she's reacted to so many.

Thanks be to God, however, that as she's gotten older, she may only need one once a year.  Homeschooling her has helped a lot, I'm sure.

Thanks to all for your prayers for my youngest.  I just wanted to check in and let you know that she seems to be doing well without needing the antibiotic after all.

I ask that you continue to pray for her as her asthma did flare up during this infection.  She appears to be on the mend with that, too--it's just taking a bit longer than usual this time to totally heal.

She has a follow up dr.'s appointment on Wednesday where he will check her asthma meds and how she is doing with them.  So if you could also remember her in prayer then, too.

Please also pray for her new asthma meds.  Because of the ozone problems, the industry is making changes to asthma inhalers.  Since she reacts SO severely to meds, I would ask that you pray that she be able to make the switch to the new meds without any adverse side effects.

Thanks again!  Glory be to Jesus Christ for His continued goodness!

  God is indeed very good!

Please continue to pray as she has a follow up with her dr. in 5 weeks.  We will try the new asthma meds with him there in case there are any side effects.

Please ask God to give the dr. the wisdom to know what to prescribe for her asthma.

This is what my daughter does for me, when my breathing spasms get really bad.

http://www.dorlingkindersley-uk.co.uk/static/cs/uk/11/features/reflexology/footchart.html

Place you arrow on 'lung' see where it lights up.  When she starts breathing poorly. use a light pressure on those areas of her  feet.  I have COPD along with a spasmadic cough, so when it gets stirred up, she can use those presssure points and change my whole breathing pattern.

Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion--I will look into it.

In the meantime, I would appreciate the group's continued prayers.

My youngest child will be going to her allergist tomorrow and trying a new emergency inhaler for her asthma.  I would ask that the group pray that she has success with it, and that it not cause any side effects so that she may be able to use it in the future.

I know this is a small request, but it means so much.  She is highly allergic to all kinds of medications, so I never know what she might react to.

Thanks to all!

Thank you for your prayers for my youngest child.  She had no initial reaction to the new emergency asthma inhaler at  the allergist's office yesterday.

Continued prayers requested in this matter when it crosses your mind.  We are praying that there are no other side effects when she needs this medication for a longer period of time over the course of any illness.

God bless you all!
