This is kind of trivial but as you know my kids are close in age. R***** just got his driver's license and so he is driving some. A friend of my daughter's came home with her last week and **** was babysitting a little boy during this time. Anyhow the friend(also H**** ) got R**** to play with them the WHOLE time- they played tag, hide n seek and cranium adapted down to the little boy's level. Today after their session at the stable both kids have been invited over to the other H*******'s house- R****** has said that he will just drop our H***** and leave but we are hoping that the other girl can convince him to stay and hang out with the kids about 5 all of whom go to school with them.. Pray that A: he stays and B: that he has fun. Becuase of his autism issues he never socializes with other kids, has never been invited to a birthday party, is never called to go and hang out with the kids or go to a movie etc. He isn't obnoxious or anything but just so socially awkward. Younger kids really really like him and adults that take a few minutes to engage him in conversation also like him.

This friend is an unusual teenager- she can talk the ear off a rock but she is interested in your life and asks questions and picks up on subjects and goes with them even if she hasn't got a clue about the topic. She really is personality plus and the people skills are quite mature for her age.

Kim I have prayed that the Lord will direct your son in the right way, whether it is to stay or go. When we pray for trivial matters for our children, they aren't trivial! Maybe if we spent more time praying on the small things there wouldn't be as many big things later. God bless
