My husband has been fighting cancer for the past three and a half years.  God has been very good and I know that He will continue to be.  I am asking for prayers regarding his treatment.  He is on chemo again and his platelet count keeps getting so low that they cannot give him is treatment - we were just told again yesterday that he will  not get his treatment this Wednesday.  I ask for prayers for him.

God bless always

Marie

Marie, you have my prayers.

May our Lord sustain you, strengthen your husband, and guide the physicians.

Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, Who have sent Your only-begotten Son and our Lord Jesus Christ to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your servant  Marie's husband and Marie from all physical and spiritual ailments through the grace of Your Christ. Grant him  patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your word to pray for each other that we may be healed. I pray, heal Your servant  Marie's husband and grant to him  the gift of complete health. For You are the source of healing and to You I give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

He'll be in our prayers, Marie. Keep on praying and hoping. My father (83) has lung cancer but has made remarkable progress. The tumor had stayed the same size for many scans, and then last time we were told it was shrinking. I'm convinced that prayer had a lot to do with that.

Marie,

I lost my mom 22 yrs ago this Thursday to liver cancer and what a toll that took out of my dad. So you are deeply in my prayers and I'm confident the Lord's looking out for both of you.

God Blessings for your husband -- and you, too!

Steven

Just thought I would update - the doctors have been "playing around" with the chemo and feel that we may have come up with the correct one - we will know by next week in Wednesday - if it goes as planned then he will receive his first full treatment in this series - since February I believe - sometimes the days run together.

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes - I know that God has a plan with this and His plans are all good.

Marie

Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on Marie, the doctors, family, and especially her husband.

May almighty God lift you up, may he support you, and encourage you. May He guide your physicians and may the treatment be effective. We pray for this in the Holy Name of Jesus. Amen

Pray things are going better for you and your husband

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Thank you - he is on his third of the series in chemo for the first time since February and his tumor markers are down from 2200 to 615 - Praise be to God.  Thank you for your prayers.  We are living proof that prayers do work.

God bless

Marie

Marie, sorry to be late responding to this post. I know what it is like dealing with a seriously ill spouse, scheduling medical appointments and tests, waiting for results, hoping a new treatment will help.

I rejoice with you that things are looking better now. Keep us posted.

Grace and peace,
Becky
