Our Kairos Bartlett #9 Team is preparing for a weekend retreat at Bartlet State Jail this week. We start on Wednesday evening for a foot washing ceremony among the teammates. We go into the prison on Thursday afternoon. We leave each day and return on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That adds up to around 38 hours in the institution.
Please pray that the logistics go well, the team is prepared and the inmates hearts are prepared also. Pray for the safety of our families and for the warden, chaplain and officers there.

Greetings from Biloxi, MS Bill,
My wife and I offer our daily morning rosary and KAIROS is one of the intentions. I just returned from a Prayer and Share at South Mississippi Correctional Institute (SMCI). I worked my first KAIROS at SMCI just a few weeks ago. I wrote to four of our brothers who missed the last Prayer and Share. This evening two of them showed up and thanked me for the letter. One was not called out to attend and the other made the wrong choice. He thanked me for reminding him to put God first in his decisions at SMCI. I told him I will be looking for him next month.
KAIROS is one of the greatest blessings in my life. I wish everyone would join the movement.
