I was born a Catholic, but was never an active one.  Mass here and there, not really understanding it.  Through life I barely thought about God.  One day my mother's friend was having the relic of Padre Pio's glove at her house.  She was a wealthy woman, yet very humble.  I never even heard of this Saint, not even a whisper of his name.  It was to start at one o'clock.  I said no.  Then about 5 minutes to one, I suddenly had an urge to go.  When we arrived, there were 12 people there and a priest who said a prayer before we started.  One woman had cancer etc..it was my turn to hold and pray over the glove.  I just prayed for my children and I started to cry.  I don't know why I cried, but learned later it was coming to know Christ at that moment.  Well, the next day I ran to confession, I haven't been there in over twenty years.  I stayed an hour I was so excited.  I told the priest about Padre Pio and he said "You are in a state of grace right now".  I will never forget that.  I then went and bought the three books about this Saint, I bought every book about The blessed Mother and her apparitions, I started to study Scripture and I actually could understand it!!  My heart grew with such love I can't explain it.  This gets even better.

During this time, I decided to go to my church and pray alone.  My priest leaves the church open and I found myself walking in and I was alone.  We have a life size crucifix at my church, very breathtaking.  So I gaze up at this cross and such fear came over me I had to run out of the church!  I later learned that I feared and loved the Lord at the same time!

I started to evangelize everything I had learned over the years, I had so much knowledge on my church and the faith.  We truly are the first church Jesus started.

Then in 2006, two weeks before Lent, I was sleeping.  A voice interrupted my dream and said:

         "ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE, HAVE FAITH".

The voice was so powerful, so authoritative, I knew it was the voice of God.  I even got up with an eye pencil and wrote on my tissue box these words as sleepy as I was.  It truly was God's voice, very powerful.  It wasn't a dream because my dream was interrupted!  I told my priest and he asked me what I thought this meant.  I just said it means no matter how much I speak to people about God, and they make fun or laugh, have faith.  Or it meant that if anything happens to my boys, to have faith.  Something like that.  That is how I took it.  Thank you Lord for this gift and for choosing me as a witness for all to know .  Now I only read Religious books, study the Lives of The Saints, etc...I have a deep love for God that I cannot explain.  I am a living witness that God exists.

You couldn't pick a better motto.  Welcome back to the Church, Stefany.

Thank you Cajun, but I didn't pick it.  God said these words to me.  They are words of hope, and proof that God does exist.  Believe me, I still hear that voice.  So powerful.  I am very priviledged.

Please understand, I am not like any other person saying they heard God, I truly did and I'd be willing to take a lie detector test just for the sake of it.

I understand, but you still couldn't pick a better motto.
