I can say that now when i look back i can see God was there, he walked me through the darkness, followed me and brought me into his light of love and I found this in the catholic church,to make a long story short,I was baptised catholic at 5 years old,my parents were not church goers nor did they ask Jesus to be a part of our family,my parents were alcoholics, looking back now i can see God was always there trying to get their attention, but they woulndt listen,,,,,,,,,I went on to live a godless life,no direction made many mistakes, but in my heart I knew one day I would find help and direction to live a good life, many times I heard God speak to my heart, I guess I knew he was there for me, but didnt know how to answer him,my mother went on to distroy herself and died of alcoholism, my sisters were a mess, my step father was the one who had us baptised he also an alcoholic, but the beauty of my story is,,,,,,,,that I prayed for agood husband one night in my darkness, after my first love the love of my life was killed,,,,and  God answered the only  prayer I ever Prayed,,,,I met My husband now Joseph, a miracle,,,He loved me just where I was at, and I felt I didnt have to run anymore, excepted me in all my darkness, he was a practicing catholic.......I had to make things right, but didnt know how , how colud I pick up the mess I made of my life with no direction and be a good girl, good enough for Joe,,,,,,,,,,It dawned on me,,,,,,,,,,Confession,,,,I went tp confession,,,,,,,,,,,I did go to catholic school for a few years and made my communion and confirmation,,,,,confession,,what a grace,,,,,,,,,,from there I got a catholic councelor,to help put my life in order,,,,andhelp me to grow as a catholic what a beautiful journey it has been,,,,,so many beautiful treasures,,the Devine Mercy so replaced my injuries and  sin I was so loved and guided  , we Married in the catholic church,,,, and had four beautiful children God has had mercy on me    , and from then on, going on twenty years now I have lived a life of such sufferrings at times but know Jesus in that sufferring and such joy ,,,,,,,I almost left the catholic church a few years ago though, my sister is protestant and very convincing, she almost had me  leaving our catholic faith, but I am here now home and a defender of the faith,,,,,,,,god Bless    I will probably rewrite my story soon to add alot I left out, but did so want to give an overview of my story,
