Are the conversion stories posted at CHNI (accessible at the CHNetwork home page) screened in any way?  Or can anybody write their story and be automatically accepted?

If you want to post your conversion story here, you are welcomed to do so.  If the "powers that be" find your story exceptionally useful to others, they will contact you for permission to include it in the Conversion Stories off the main page.

Otherwise, you can write your story and email it to helpers@chnetwork.org.  Please keep in mind that the reason the "Conversion Stories" section was included on the forum was to allow everyone to share their stores, making them more accessible to those who might be on a similar journey.  It is preferred that subject lines include descriptive information like "Rocky Road from Southern Baptist to Catholic" or something like that, to make it easier to find.

I have a question about how long a post with our conversion story can we make?  I ask because I mine is 11 single-spaced pages long.  I'd love to share the story of my Journey...but it's a long tale to say the least.

God Bless you all!

The forum software allows 5000 character messages.  You are welcomed to post it in multiple parts, or to include it as an attachment to a message.  Be sure you start a new topic for your story so it will be easier for new users to find months and years from now.

I'm not sure what format you have it in, but if you want it converted to a PDF file, send it to me and I can make the conversion for you.  That way no one else has the ability to edit it and make it seem like you said things you didn't.   I don't like to put anything online in an editable format because I have had people edit my stuff and put words in my mouth that I never said.  I get in enough trouble with the stuff I actually do say!

Thanks so much for the info.  I just got my 1st Mac ever yesterday and I think I can make pdf files....though I am not really sure yet.  I will certainly take you up on your offer if I cannot.

God Bless you and all who work in the name of the Lord at the CHN.
