| I have read Story of a Soul but my priest said there is another book by a different editor which goes into much more detail on St. Therese's spiritual darkness the last 18 months of her life. Unfortunately, he was unable to give me a reference for it. Does anybody know what he might have been referring to? There are so many Therese books, it's hard to figure out which one this might be. Sort of frustrating.

Annie, perhaps this book is the one your pastor was referring to. It covers the final period of Therese’s life, during which she was gravely ill, giving her final words to the novices and the other sisters in the monastery.

| Thank you very much, that one must be it. I am studying about redemptive suffering issues now and am trying to get more in depth. Story of a Soul is good but a little light for my purposes now.
