| When my older kids were little I had a picture Bible called the Hosanna Bible which pretty much went through most of the Bible with colorful cartoon-like pictures and simple stories with little commentary. I have found it actually covers most of the rosary mysteries. The problem? After 10+ years the binding has had it! I checked and the book is out of print although I can get "like new" used copies online. I thought I would look for a similar Catholic Bible but so far I have only found ones with either an long page of text with one picture, geared toward much older children, or not as comprehensive in what stories are covered. Going to a Catholic bookstore is not a good option as the nearest one is over 50 miles away. Anybody familiar with a title that has only a few sentences per page, simple colorful pictures and covers a lot of Bible stories without a lot of evangelical protestant commentary?

That's why God made duct tape!
Seriously, I've bought "like new" books from online vendors and I've never gotten one I wasn't satisfied with. Also, a visit to a Catholic bookstore should let you see them. And GetFed appears to have a good selection of children's Catholic bibles.

My son had the neatest kids Bible when he was a baby. I don't remember the exact title, but it was green. It featured a very brief Bible story per page with a way for mother and child to act out a bit of the story. The main one that I remember was the story of the flood and you had to do "raindrops" with your fingers. I got it at Family Christian almost nine years ago.
