The IHM national conference is in Chantilly, VA on June 13-14. The talks include homeschooling topics, parenting topics and Catholic apologetics.
Additional IHM conferences are held in Dallas, Lafayette LA, and Cleveland.

Ohhh, Cleveland. I could almost do Cleveland. In all my hs'ing years, I've never been to a conference. I can't imagine what I'm missing.

Ali,
You're missing the fellowship found in gathering with hundreds/thousands of like-minded Catholics who are striving to live an authentic Catholic life by following God's will for our families. (I almost sound Protestant! )
You're also missing the opportunity to truly examine curricula and discern (with much prayer of course) which materials are best for your child/ren.
You're also missing talks on homeschooling ranging from beginning to overcoming burnout and everything in between (homeschooling high school, preparing our kids for the real world, homeschooling specific subjects...)
You're also missing talks on spirituality, the sacraments, parenting in general and other topics of interest to all Catholic parents (not just homeschoolers.)
You're also missing Catholic vendors who bring a wide variety of books and Catholic articles and supplemental fun homeschool activities.
Have I convinced you to go to Cleveland yet?
Anne
