Howdy---

Being a relatively new convert (Easter 2005) from the Baptist denomination, I was wondering if there are any portions of the New Testament where Jesus actually quotes from the Deuterocanonicals.

I started with his Sermon on the Mount, but after three hours' effort I wondered if someone had already done this, and where I could find the list.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for the link to Jimmy Aiken's website.

This is exactly what I hoped for.  Although I enjoyed doing my own search, it was definitely taking me too long (hah---after 3 hours).

I have compiled many quite possible instances of Jesus citing the Deuterocanonical books:

Possible References to the Deuterocanon (aka "Apocrypha") in the New Testament (RSV) (+ Parts Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven | Eight | Nine)
