I'm looking for all the promises made to the church that I can find in Scripture. Specifically promises of perserverance. There's the promise that the gates of Hell will not prevail against the church. And there's the promise Jesus made right before He ascended, "Lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world." Are there more?

Thanks!

The full verse
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

This is a tough one to answer; even to look up, but a few that come to my mind are:

John 14:26-27 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

James 5:15 and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Luke 21:14-15 Settle it therefore in your minds, not to meditate beforehand how to answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.

John 16:13-14 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
