I have not yet "fully" Catholic but I have been praying the Rosary for years. Recently one of our sons  in the military told us he is soon to be deployed to a war-zone.  I was hysterical! Now, I have a history of severe depression and I was headed down that road again.   Christian friends just kept saying "you have to trust it to God" -- I thought I was---- I did everything including yelling at God -- I tried praying, but all I could do was cry --- Then I found my Rosary again and as I prayed it came to me.....who better would know about a son in danger!?  Who had to raise a son only to see him die a horrible death?  Our Blessed Mother understands!

I pray a Rosary each day now and I feel so close to Mary --Through the prayers and the Mysteries I have a peace I could not have imagined before.

Liz, what is your son's name?  I will make every effort to remember him when I pray my Rosary, too.

Jill

His name is Don.  Thank you so much for your prayers -- he is a very special guy!

My brother's name is Don.   I pray for his family regularly, too, so that will help me remember your son.  Lord, keep him safe and bring him home to his family and friends, those who love him.  Amen.
