Hi to all,

Thanks for allowing me to join and grow with you in faith as we take this journey together.  I'm almost 62 yrs. of age and am a lifelong Roman Catholic.  My husband went to Mass with me while we were high school sweethearts, and although it was a first and he had only been to Protestant churches growing up, he felt after just one visit that the Catholic Church was right for him.  Therefore he converted shortly thereafter upon entering the US Army, and now we've been married forty years, and he has never questioned his conversion.  We've both been active in the CCD program throughout the years, he has been active in the K of C, and I am still a lector.  As we get older and go through hardships and at times heartaches...as we all do....we feel the need even moreso to cling to our faith, to pray more, and trust in the Lord's goodness and mercy.  Of course, we question and seek answers, but as I have often explained to our daughters, "We choose to believe"........and what a gift that is in itself.

I found this site as I was searching for info about the young male saint who died at the age of 24, and his body has remained uncorrupted...I'd like to know his name and more info about him.  I understand his body is going to be taken to a conference of young Catholics possibly in Australia that they may view his body in their journey of faith. (Can anyone help me?)

Again........thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you and reading your posts of various topics.

After some sleuthing, I think I’ve found your man, Bay. He would be Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. I found a photograph and a short write-up about him here.
