| For the Divine Mercy Sunday Plenary Indulgence, within how many days does one need to go confession? Would it be close enough to the actual day to go to confession sometime during Lent?

I believe the usual time given is 8 days but I could be wrong. I think the rule says "a reasonable time" which would give you leeway for disasters like a broken car.
Also I think the confession rule is for mortal sin only. One parish I attend encourages monthly confession but they get so stacked up with lines outside the confessionals they have to put in the bulletin that you can deal with venial sins with a good act of contrition and Holy Communion.

Wow...Praise God. That's a problem most parishes should have, I'm sure.
