It was brought to my attention that Thomas was not yet in the room when Jesus breathed on the disciples and gave them the authority to forgive sin. How did Thomas then receive this authority and pas it along in his office? I suppose Jesus could have done it later, or maybe Peter could have later? Is there a standard explanation for this?
