I can not imagine not going to church on Easter, but I was curious if for those who attend the Vigil on Saturday if that means they do not have to go on Easter Sunday, since every other week this is the case? Or being Easter Sunday is it important that everybody be there, well I mean, I know it is important, but I am looking for the technical what is requred answer for someone who asked me.

Every Sunday, including Easter, is a day of obligation. Under current Church law, the obligation to attend mass on Sunday may be fulfilled on the vigil, which is Saturday evening. So attending the Easter Vigil fulfills the obligation to attend Easter mass. It is not necessary to go again.
