I have read, briefly, a bit of the teaching about praying the rosary. How does one do this with a rosary bracelet?

Typically a rosary bracelet will have ten beads, so you go around five times.
Many people pray one decade at a time anyway, so a rosary bracelet is a perfect way to keep track of the prayers as the day progresses.

I have done that while I am waiting for my next appointment (I keep a Rosary in the truck.) and I used to worry about if it was proper. Then, one day you said that any sincere pray was appropriate and that helped me a lot so I don't worry about the "short version" anymore.
BTW, I think that is a very significant service these BBs gives in helping newbies along their Journey.

When I was going through RCIA my father-in-law was hospitalized several states away. Well, we went to visit, and my husband had to return to work. So I stayed behind to help out with his dad for a week.
One day I decided I wanted to pray the rosary to pass my time sitting in the hospital. I found the Catholic bookstore in town and purchased a rosary bracelet. I chose a bracelet because it would always be right there when I needed it--rather than stuffing a rosary in my pocket and then maybe not having it when I wanted or needed it. Or breaking it.
Not only was it a comfort to me while I was practically alone in a state far from home, but it was a reminder of the journey I was taking "home."
