If you heard Pope Benedict's speech to the other Christian representatives that is good, but it even reads better than it sounds. Go to EWTN's website to print out a copy of this speech.
Here's a brief sample: ... "Scientific discoveries, and their application through human ingenuity, undoubtedly offer new possibilities for the betterment of humankind. This does not mean, however, that the "knowledge" is limited to the empirically verifiable, nor religion restricted to the shifting realm of "personal expeience." For Christians to accept this faulty line of reasoning would lead to the notion that there is little need to emphasize objective truth in the presentation of the Christian faith, for one need but follow his or her own conscience and choose a community that best suits his or her undividual tastes. The result is seen in the continual proliferation of communities which often eschew institutional structures and minimize the inportance of doctrinal content for Christianliving." (underlining mine)
How refreshing this is ! Tell it like it is !
We Have A Pope !!!!!

Like one Protestant Minister commenting about Pope John Paul II once said about him I will repeat and apply it to Pope Benedict XVI - "[The Catholic Church] has a Pope who knows how to pope!" Ha, ha! Long live Pope Benedict XVI!!
