The March for Life in Washington DC is on January 22, 2007.  Is anyone planning to attend?  This will be our third year.  It is a beautiful Catholic experience.  There are many groups of religious sisters, brothers, and priests.  It would be great to meet folks from the forum.  Last year we saw Marcus from afar, sitting up in the EWTN booth.

Please see my favorite photo from last year, attached.

Dear Prodigal daughter,

I had the privilege of marching for life last year in LA with an organization called Hispanics for Life. Afterwards, I attended several of their meetings and was witnessed to the need of our communities. Abortion leaves behind several victims :(
I love your homepage :) You've done an awesome job and I am interested in reading the book about suffering. What is the title of the book? I clicked on the author's name, but there was not link to it.

Blessings,
Angie

Yes, I plan on going. This will be the second year that our parish will be taking a bus full of people. We leave on Sunday evening, drive all night, march on Monday, and then drive all night and return home Tuesday morning, just in time for morning Mass. Last year our Parish Priest came as well as another Priest. It was wonderfull!

Dear Angie,

Sorry about the link.  I originally found the entire book online and thought that I had put a link to it.  I couldn't find it just now so it is linked to Amazon.com The Name of the book is "Map of Life."  Thanks for checking out my blog, I plan to get back to it during Lent.  God Bless.

PD

The March for Life was amazing!  We met Marcus Grodi at the EWTN booth and were thrilled to see all of the young people who were there to stand up for LIFE.  Please take a minute to view the music video below and share it with anyone you feel might benefit from weeing it.

There were a lot of people talking to Marcus and shaking his hand.  We just said we appreciated the Journey Home and I told him that I've enjoyed the forum.

I just returned as well, although I am still recovering from the long long bus ride.  The March was wonderful.  This year we all attended a youth rally because many of our fellow Right to Life Pilgrims were high school age kids.  The rally was wonderful.  After the rally we all attended a Mass said by Justin Cardinal Rigali Archbiship of Philadelphia.  It was wonderfull!!!!  I love being in the company of so many Priests and Nuns and Brothers.  That is one of the things I like so much about the March for Life.  It is also amazing how many young people you see there.  I hope to go every year, but  wouldn't it be wonderful if we never had to go again unless it was a march to celebrate the overturning of Roe v Wade!!!!

Hi Vicki,

Wish I could have seen you there!  I know what you mean about seeing so many priests, brothers, and religious sisters.  It is so heartwarming.

Many people said this year that they hoped there would be a day when we will not have to march yet there are so many other life issues now such as embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and physician assisted suicide that I wonder if we will ever stop marching on behalf of life.

Deb

Hi Deb,

I would have loved to have met you there also. I viewed your music video. Its wonderful, but it made me get a little teary eyed. My brother and his wife are in the process of adoption, but they are choosing to go the international route. You don't have to wait near as long.  Anyway, I love the video. Thanks for sharing it!!

Vicki

P.D.,

Did you know you and your husband's name were in The Morning Call article on the March For Life?  And the reporter even quoted your husband.  I thought I would let you know in case you weren't aware of it.  That was in Tuesday's paper.

BTW, I watched the March For Life on EWTN live and noticed that there was a very Catholic presence at the march.  Were there many Protestants or those of other faiths at the march?  I'm just curious because all I noticed for the most part were those from Catholic parishes marching.

I would love to go with you and your husband next year!

Love in Christ,

Darlene
