I wonder if anyone noticed. By the counts I saw, nearly 20,000 marchers attended the March for Life event in San Franciso. Unfortunately, if you are a subscriber to the local Mercury News, you never would have known. They had no coverage, at least in my home edition. They'll cover 5 or 6 pro abortion demonstrators, but will ignore the pro-life folk. As a result we are fed up with what we call the "Murky News" and are cancelling our membership. I urge all those in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Jose Area to do the same. Let's send a major message to the Murky, that their paper needs a major conversion.
I understand the San Francisco Chronicle covered it, which is somewhat of a surprise since they are about as bad as the Murky.
Our pastor said today that the San Francisco Bay Area is 98 percent unchurched. Is it any wonder?

Even if a media publisher sends a reporter to watch the event, this does not mean that an article will actually appear, or if one does, that it will be accurate. Reporters will often hold their notes on pro-life events to twist as anti-life ammunition later on in other stories. Meanwhile, if anyone should ask, oh yes, they covered the event — but in the end so few people showed up that they scrapped it as not newsworthy.

I agree with you Dave. I think there was a news blackout on both the marches in Washington and San Francisco. However, from the pictures I saw there was a significant crowd at both rallies that diserved a lot of attention. I'm praying for someone with the vision of reaching the general masses with a new way of making an end run around the major news outlets that goes beyond just the internet. It has to be something that will gain the widest audience with the greatest impact.
Where there is God, there is a way.

Of course. But for the opposition to admit this would be to admit defeat. So they prefer to continue pretending that there is no elephant in the parlor.

Perhaps we need another congressional debate, such as the one about partial birth abortion in the early nineties. That debate was largely responsible for the present pro-life majority among the populace because it allowed them to see for the first time on television what abortion is all about. All it takes is a little push.…
