Rod Dreher (Mr. Crunchy Con) asks why Protestants reject Protestantism. If you'd care to read the responses, go here. Feel free to add your 2 cents.

He is a former Protestant and former Catholic, now Orthodox.

:) Hope he's got strong legs and good comfortable shoes, not to mention a penchant for deep sounding long hymns. Still, I'll take those any day over the happy tunes that make up for P & W muzak.

P & W? 'Splain, please. I'm curious. :)

The reason he moved to the Orthodox church was because he got way too close to the pedophile priest issue. He found out there was one that had been transferred right to his parish, and he had no idea that the man was under investigation. Rod has young boys. I can't fault him for wanting to protect them. Any dad who loves his kids would.

Kim, I assumed P and W was short for praise and worship.
Muzak is that canned easy-listening stuff piped into elevators and department stores.

Well, DUH! I can't believe I didn't catch that! I mean I ONLY spent 9 years of my life at a Calvary Chapel church singing just such songs! *rolling eyes*

Muzak I knew. Just not the P & W. Oye!

Thanks Becky! You came through for me again!
