There is a wonderful  non-denominational evangelistic organization:  Jesus For Muslims, which works in the NYC area:  http://www.jesusformuslims.org  The website contains a video of several of those Muslims who have become believers in Jesus who work in the ministry.

There is also a wonderful site with video reenactments of the testimonies of Muslims who became Christians in closed Muslim countries through dreams and visions of Jesus:  http://www.morethandreams.tv   This website includes the testimony of a Muslim terrorist who found Jesus.

Take the time to view these.  They are very inspiring.  God is doing wonderful things among all peoples, including Muslims!

Can Catholics, as well as Protestants, share the treasure of Jesus with their Muslim neighbors?

Salaam! (Peace)

H.

The Pope baptized a prominent Muslim journalist at the Easter Vigil.  Catholics take on Muslim evangelism!

I am kind of curious- in all my years of living in Muslim countries I never asked what women get in heaven- if the are martyed for their faith what is their reward? I know the men get the 80 virgins in paradise- come to think of it - once he gets the 80 virgins is that it?- I am not sure that is such a wonderful trade off for one's life:D

:) You just hit upon Islam's Achilles heel: women get shortchanged on earth as they're led to believe they'll be in heaven. Hell of a heaven if you ask me.

Great point, Kim!

There's a former radical Shi'a Muslim who took part in the Iranian Revolution that's now an Evangelist in my denomination.

There is a real movement of the Holy Spirit reaching Muslims.  It is very exciting to see this happening all over the world today.

I'm not sure where you are located BeProf, but if I am not too far, I might be interested in attending the men's retreat you mention.

Does your church have a website which would list details about the event?  If you like, you can send me a private message.:)

Blessings!

Henry
