Has Marcus ever covered Ephesians on DIS and, if so, is it possible to purchase on tape or DVD??

Yes, Marcus has covered Ephesians on Deep in Scripture. You can actually listen to all the previous episodes by going to http://www.deepinscripture.com/archives.htm. If you prefer hard copies, you can call our office at 740-450-1175 to order them. I would like to say, however, that it took Marcus and Jim a year to cover Ephesians so it would take us quite a while to make copies of each episode. Each program is available in cd or mp3 format. I hope that answers your question!
God bless,

Wow!! A year??! I guess I'll go to the archives and listen and take some notes. They must have gone into great detail!
Thank you!
Jill

Yes Jill, I downloaded all the studies and Jim's notes on the Ephesians onto my Mac and all the programs onto my Ipod. They are superb.

"Jim's notes"?? Are those easily available? If I do end up leading/teaching the class, I'll need a lot of help as I'm certainly no theologian. I don't think I can take the time to listen to the shows (would that be over 20 hours??), but if there is written material available, I'd be thankful to have it. I did purchase the Galatians/Ephesians Ignatius Study Bible and it has a lot of background info, too.

Just go to this place on the Deep in Scripture site to find "Jim's" notes. http://www.deepinscripture.com/archives.htm
Jim Anderson, Marcus' sidekick posts a lot of background notes for a number of the shows. They are listed with various shows that are posted. Jim doesn't put notes up for every show. They are helpful and serve as primarily historical background for Marcus' voluminous notes.
I refer to them often.
