Last evening on CHNI CHAT I was encouraged to find and listen to the Journey Home story of Fr. Edward Fride. I found the episode on EWTN and listened to it with my wife last night. WOW! This is a story everyone needs to hear. What a blessing. It lead me to ferverent prayer to strengthen my relationship with God and this afternoon the Blessed Virgin touched my heart in a way that I was not expecting. WHAT A BLESSING!

Father Ed is awesome.  I was privileged to know him when I attended Ave Maria College in Ypsilanti MI.  He was one of the chaplains, head of the pre-theologate program and also a student(working on like his 20th degree).  Father is one amazing man-he even drives a motorcycle :bowing:

I've heard bits and pieces of his conversion in conversation with him but never got the whole story.  When I get a chance I'll listen to it on EWTN.

God bless,

I know Fr. Ed a bit, too. He's at the church where Steve Ray and Al Kresta attend, in Ann Arbor (about 30 miles from my house right outside Detroit). He's an extremely affable and dedicated man.

I have heard his conversion story in person at a conference. Great stuff!
