ROME, MARCH, 20 2007 (Zenit.org).- Television networks from various nations will broadcast live from Rome the concert for unity composed by Russian Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeev.

Bishop Alfeev of Vienna and Austria is the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church of Moscow to the European Community.

His latest composition, "The Passion According to Matthew," seeks to promote Christian unity, especially among Catholics and Orthodox.

It will be presented Thursday, March 29, in the Auditorium Conciliazione, close to the Vatican.

The Vatican Television Center will broadcast the performance. EWTN and the Catholic Radio Network will also run it.
