According to USA Today, Wal-Mart, Kohl's, and Macy's have reversed last year's policies and plan to promote Christmas in a big way this year.  The phrase "Merry Christmas" had been dropped last year in favor of "Happy Holidays" causing the wrath of Christian groups.

The USA Today story is available here.

Meahwhile, the American Family Association reports that Best Buy has dropped its Christmas advertising and is urging a boycott of the retailer.  The electronics retailer plans to feature a "Happy Holidays" theme in its advertising and store displays this year.  The Associated Press article is reposted on the AFA web site.

Nice to know Wallyworld relented on Christmas. Too bad it hasn't relented on the morning after pill.
