It is a very insightful article, and very true. And it fits very well with the tradition that it takes the Church 50 years to stabilize after a major council. We are in the final decade of that 50 year period, and the stability is settling in. As I've said many times before, it is an exciting time to be a Catholic!

The youths whom John Paul II first inspired are now approaching middle age. They are beginning to exert traditional, conservative beliefs on the American Catholic Church.
This is an excellent trend!
