I get concerned when I hear that places like Europe and Canada are becoming open to allowing  Sharia Law. I also get concerned when I hear "experts"  and so forth trying to tie Islam and Christianity together- i.e. instead of Judeo-Christian roots and values- Islamo-Christian roots and values. To me this is one dangerous step towards the eventual primacy of Islam. To someone reading this I probably come across as an intolerant bigot- I honestly am not. I lived in Muslim Countries in the 70's until the mid 80's- this was before the rise of today's Jihad etc. but even then there was a definite lack of  acceptance towards other faiths. In fact I was caught in a car in mob that would have torn our ( Hindu) driver and our selves apart had the army not intervened- only because the driver was Hindu. At the time there was no radical Islam as we know it today however no matter how moderate the Muslim then there was still a lack of acceptance and a definite belief in their own righteousness as Muslims over all others.
