God is really reaching Muslims!  Even the Pope is involved.  Catholics should be ready to be a part of this movement of the Holy Spirit!

Here is the news story on the conversion of a prominent Muslim journalist.

I have been thinking about this for the past few days. This is a huge statement for Pope Benedict to make, and a huge personal risk for both Benedict and the baptised who's name was published. This might very well cost both of them their lives. The so-called "Holy Koran"  teaches that apostates from Islam should have their heads chopped off and one arm and one leg chopped off.

Once upon a time, it was dangerous for people to follow Christ in the West.  Christians, so in love with Jesus, were willing to risk their lives for him.  Thank God that some of these courageous followers of Jesus are with us today.  Muslims who become Christians are some of the godliest and bravest believers in the world today.

Have we counted the cost of following the Messiah?  Are we ready to risk our lives to reach out in love to our Muslim neighbors?  If not, are we really followers of Jesus?  Muslims are wonderful people.  God loves them so much!  I pray that there will be an awakening among God's people to share the gospel with Muslims--a tidal wave of love!  Maybe we are witnessing the swell of such a wave before it hits the shore?!

Salaam Alechem!
